I do love L.J Smith too, but I've come to realise that I might just love the premise of the Night World more than her writing itself—I loved her books years ago, before they disappeared, and now reading them is nice in a familiar, comforting sort of way, but a LOT of LJS fanfic is awesome (perhaps awesomer than the original). But yes, I did (and still do) love the Night World, especially Black Dawn and Witchlight, and I adored Dark Visions. But still, when it comes to kids fantasy, Tamora Pierce has to be my favourite author, especially her newer books. As for Ink Exchange, I'm so ready to get it, cos I loved Wicked Lovely, but all I can find is the hardcover, and I don't really like reading hardback books. :( Haha.
