went out with M today—for reasons that fall under the if-you-know-then-you-should-know, if-you-don’t-you-shouldn’t category of things. shopping itself was uneventful, but after shopping we sat down at the new-ish place at Raffles Place, Ochacha, or something—a shop specialising in matcha, matcha and more matcha. Had the interestingly named Ochacha Rocks—green tea and milk, shaken, not stirred. I kinda feel like I ought to be shot for falling into that vastly overpopulated group of people who have wrung the chic out of that line, but I couldn’t resist. M had the giggle-worthy Silk on the Rock—yes, that’s right, Rock, people, not Rocks (although the drink came on the rocks, so..)—soy milk and green tea, the same way, barman. The drinks were not bad—enough to satisfy any stray matcha cravings that might attack, and not tooo punishing on the wallet—no more than Starbucks, at any rate. The one thing I would go back just for, though, is the Matcha Panna Cotta. MM-MMM GOOD. So creamy and luscious, and so prettily green. The only thing wrong with it, I felt, was that it wasn’t quite matcha-y enough. But well.
Oh, oh, OH! We also went to the Donut Factory, which has, happily come up with a few new flavours! Including, *drumroll*

YES! You guessed it! COOKIES AND CREAM!!! I didn’t have very high hopes for it, I must admit, but it was delish! Yum.
haha.
Yes. And on my way home, I stopped at CompassPoint to buy a bag of rice, and decided to get a tub of Häagen-Dazs Cookies & Cream. grin.
Seriously, take a look at the site. It makes me want to go to the US just to eat ice cream.
teehee.
ok ok. enough about food. All this food talk is making me hungry—and that’s not even a convenient ‘exit liner’, I really am getting peckish.
Time for bed..
