ohh, god. today was the worst.

tomorow had better be better…

tired.

and there’s still work to be done.

boo.

went out with the cousins and mum and all today—not sure what the ‘purpose’ of the shopping excursion was, so..*shrug*

BUT, in the course of our travels, we went to the lovely, monocromatic MUJI, just for fun. And just for fun, I got a pack of “Salt Caramel Chocolate Rice Cracker”—cos Muji food always looks so good, and cos I can never resist anything that’s salted caramel-related.

And guess what?

IT IS SOOOO GOOD.

It’s basically little cresent-shaped Japanese rice crackers—surely you know the type—lightly salty and just the tiniest bit spicy, and coated in a ’salted caramel white chocolate’ sort of coating.

It’s soooo good, and SOOO addictive. I ate the 60g pack up in like…15mins. I want to dash back and just buy another dozen packets.

another craving to add the list…

haha.

went out with M today—for reasons that fall under the if-you-know-then-you-should-know, if-you-don’t-you-shouldn’t category of things. shopping itself was uneventful, but after shopping we sat down at the new-ish place at Raffles Place, Ochacha, or something—a shop specialising in matcha, matcha and more matcha. Had the interestingly named Ochacha Rocks—green tea and milk, shaken, not stirred. I kinda feel like I ought to be shot for falling into that vastly overpopulated group of people who have wrung the chic out of that line, but I couldn’t resist. M had the giggle-worthy Silk on the Rock—yes, that’s right, Rock, people, not Rocks (although the drink came on the rocks, so..)—soy milk and green tea, the same way, barman. The drinks were not bad—enough to satisfy any stray matcha cravings that might attack, and not tooo punishing on the wallet—no more than Starbucks, at any rate. The one thing I would go back just for, though, is the Matcha Panna Cotta. MM-MMM GOOD. So creamy and luscious, and so prettily green. The only thing wrong with it, I felt, was that it wasn’t quite matcha-y enough. But well.

Oh, oh, OH! We also went to the Donut Factory, which has, happily come up with a few new flavours! Including, *drumroll*

*drumroll*

YES! You guessed it! COOKIES AND CREAM!!! I didn’t have very high hopes for it, I must admit, but it was delish! Yum.

haha.

Yes. And on my way home, I stopped at CompassPoint to buy a bag of rice, and decided to get a tub of Häagen-Dazs Cookies & Cream. grin.

Seriously, take a look at the site. It makes me want to go to the US just to eat ice cream.

teehee.

ok ok. enough about food. All this food talk is making me hungry—and that’s not even a convenient ‘exit liner’, I really am getting peckish.

Time for bed..

Well, I’m finally back from Malaysia. Three weeks away was seriously a loong time. It was a fun trip, and truly the ‘adventure of a lifetime’, as promised, but three weeks is really too long a time to have one’s life on hold. I miss my bed, my bunny, and just being in my house. Of course, I really miss having the house to myself and just myself, which will only be happening in about three weeks, :(

but well, I am back, which is great. photos coming soon, so keep watching this space, but for now, a little teaser:

yep, now I’m off to reacquaint myself with my much-missed bed.

~toodles!
